About This Blog

I live in Japan and have developed a strong appetite and taste for rice. I am no longer satisfied with just any plain old rice bowled in a tin pot. I've become spoiled and now I can only enjoy the quality stuff. Luckily Japan is the land of excellent rice cookers, and I use one every day. And whenever I visit a friend's home or eat out, I experience rice from a different rice cooker. Since I've become so familiar with quality rice and rice cookers I enjoy sharing that knowledge with others.
