Zojirushi NS-WAC10 Micom Fuzzy-Logic 5-1/2-Cup Rice Cooker and Warmer
The Zojirushi NS-WAC10 Micom Fuzzy-Logic 5-1/2-Cup Rice Cooker and Warmer started at a list price of $160 but can now be bought from internet-based retailers for the discounted price of $116. As you probably expect from Zojirushi, this is a high quality unit with features that go over and beyond the call of duty. That's why you pay a mid-range price of $116. This is a 5 1/2 cup rice cooker, why means you get about 11 or 12 cups of cooked rice. It has an auto-keep-warm function that starts when the cooking cycle is done, and has pre-programmed multi-menu cooking modes. It makes use of modern Fuzzy Logic technology which makes adjustments to the timer and temperature in real time, judging your rice's progress from moment to moment.
The NS WAC10 cooks not only white rice but also mixed rice, sushi, porridge, sweet rice, brown rice, and so on. It also has a quick rice function that coks your rice 25%-50 faster.
This isn't one of Zojirushi's top-end models, but for anyone who wants high quality rice with some variety, this is a great unit.
