Fagor 3-in-1 Electric Multi-Cooker

Fagor 3-in-1 Multi-CookerThe Fagor 3-in-1 Electric Multi-Cooker features a pressure cooker, slow cooker and rice cooker.

I first heard about this Fagor 3-in-1 Electric Multi-Cooker on cooking tv-shows, then I searched for it on Americas Test Kitchen. I haven't been disappointed with it, and after 2 or 3 beginner's errors I now worship this cooker, because everything comes out flawlessly! It's easy to change from one function of cooking to another without hassle and it works well! The browning function actually browns, the slow-cooker doesn't boil your meal like most normal slow-cookers do and I don't feel as though the pressure-cooker is going to blow like the old-fashioned type. I really recommend you buy a pressure-cooker cook book like "Pressure Cooking for Everyone", written by Rick Rogers and Arlene Ward, or alternatively "Miss Vickie's Big Book of Pressure Cooker Recipes". One thing that I like is that it is taller and thinner than a regular pot, you can store it without trouble and it doesn't occupy much room on the counter.

This an excellent rice cooker if you are not keen to have various different pots just to cook a simple meal. I had never heard of the Fagor company before but I would definitely buy another one again over the more famous brands.
