Black and Decker RC3303 3 Cup Rice Cooker
The Black and Decker RC3303 3-Cup Automatic Rice Cooker is similar to the RC3406 6 cup rice cooker, except that it is a smaller version of the same design. It is a good little cooker and a good value for the money. It cooks decent rice and seems reasonably durable. For a single person it is a good little unit priced at $14.99, and compact-sized so you can store it easily in your cupboards or tuck it away in a corner of your counter. But the key point to remember is that this is for a SINGLE PERSON. It really is quite small, and some consumers complain that it is a smaller rice cooke than they expected.
The amount of rice that a 3-cup rice cooker makes is suitable for a side dish if you have more than 1 person to feed. But beyond that you are probably better off getting the RC3406 6 cup rice cooker. But both units make rice the same way so you shouldn't notice any difference in taste.
The Black and Decvker RC3303 3 cup rice cooker has handy "cook" and "keep warm" indication lights, so you are not likely to leave these on by mistake. The rice can get a little hard and burned in this unit if you leave the warm function running too long. Maybe an hour or so until you serve the rice is fine. But longer than that is probably not practical.
The RC3303 is another good value product from Black & Decker. If you are a single person with limited space this one makes perfect sense.
